Gemma Gore

Gemma Gore Enclosure

Gemma Gore uses the expanded field of landscape and systems of classification to explore universal experiences of space and place, juxtaposing variations in form, particularly the natural and artificial. Through abstraction, diagrams and schematics, Gemma's work visualises impossible views and the underlying structural properties of spaces or objects in ways not usually encountered.

Recent exhibitions include: solo exhibition 'Subterranean Typologies' as part of the Belfast Photo Festival; 'Quiet Variations on a Town' curated by Caelan Bristow as part of Birr Visual Arts Festival; 'Artists on Architecture' curated by Oonagh Young, Birr Theatre and Arts Centre; 'Horizon Sprawl' curated by Stephanie Bertrand, Ormston House, Limerick.
