Robert Blake

Robert Blake is a Dublin-based singer, conductor and choral leader. A music and philosophy graduate of Trinity College Dublin, he currently continues his vocals studies at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. As freelance performer, he has toured nationally with Opera Theatre Company and the Irish Youth Chamber Choir. An experienced vocal leader, Robert regularly works with students from the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain. His first taste of performance art has included performances in the non parade parade, part of Trans-art Cavan 2013, and for (((O))). As co-founder and artistic director of vocal ensemble Tonnta, his work explores new contexts for exceptional choral singing through collaboration and experimentation. Upcoming performances include collaboration with Hannah Fitz at Temple Bar Studios in September 2013.
